Community Guidelines

Our community thrives because members treat each other with respect. These guidelines explain the standards we hold ourselves and all members to.

Respectful Conduct

TopUK Online Game Community is built around positive social interaction. Members are expected to engage with one another in a courteous, constructive, and kind manner at all times. Hostile, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour toward any community member — regardless of their experience level, game results, or opinions — is not tolerated.

  • Use polite, inclusive language in all community spaces
  • Accept differing opinions and strategies graciously
  • Congratulate other players on their successes
  • Offer encouragement rather than criticism to newer members
  • Disagree without being disagreeable

Zero Tolerance Behaviours

The following behaviours will result in immediate and permanent removal from community spaces:

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or nationality
  • Harassment or bullying of any member, including persistent unwanted messaging
  • Threatening language of any kind, whether serious or intended as a joke
  • Sharing personal information about other members without their explicit consent
  • Impersonating other members, moderators, or platform staff
  • Spreading deliberate misinformation about the platform, its games, or its team

Game Integrity

Our games are designed for fair, enjoyable entertainment. Any attempt to exploit game mechanics, manipulate outcomes, or gain unfair advantages over other players undermines the experience for everyone. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Attempting to manipulate the JavaScript game code
  • Exploiting bugs or unintended game behaviours (please report these instead)
  • Coaching or colluding with other players in competitive formats
  • Falsely claiming game outcomes in community discussions

Responsible Gaming

While our platform involves no real money, we take the themes of our games seriously. Members must not encourage others to engage in real-money gambling, link to real gambling sites, or discuss real gambling outcomes in community spaces. If a member expresses distress or concern about their gaming habits, respond with empathy and direct them to the Responsible Gaming page.

Content Standards

Any content shared in community spaces (posts, usernames, avatars where applicable) must be appropriate for a general adult audience. Content that is sexually explicit, graphically violent, or designed to shock or disturb other members is not permitted.

Reporting Violations

If you witness behaviour that violates these guidelines, please bring it to the attention of a community moderator via the Help Center. We investigate all reports seriously and take appropriate action. We are grateful to members who help maintain the quality of our community.

Amendments

These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect the evolving needs of the community. Significant changes will be announced in community spaces. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
